Building One of Brazil’s First On-Demand Delivery Platforms

Overview

Years before the rapid expansion of app-based delivery services in Brazil, Find Motoboy introduced an innovative platform connecting customers with professional motorcycle couriers through a digital marketplace.

The project aimed to simplify urban deliveries by allowing individuals and businesses to request pickups and deliveries directly from a web platform and mobile applications.

While the mobile applications were developed by another company, my team was responsible for the entire backend ecosystem that powered the platform.

Key Challenges

One of the biggest challenges was designing a backend platform capable of supporting logistics operations while remaining flexible enough to integrate with independently developed mobile applications.

The solution also needed to provide operational visibility for administrators while ensuring reliable communication between customers, couriers and the management platform.

Scalability and maintainability were important considerations from the beginning due to the platform’s growth expectations.
